Smoothie Recipes Pack That Nutritional Punch!

Many parents wonder how to get their kids to eat healthy and overlook the easiest way – through smoothies.  Smoothies pack that nutritional punch along with providing great taste and fun.  What kid doesn’t like to drink through a straw?

There are probably 1,000’s of smoothie recipes out there.  As long as you have a good base, you can add lots of nutrients and it will still taste good.

Our smoothie recipe base is almond milk, 3 bananas, 1/4 cup of peanut butter,  3/4 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of fish oil.

From this smoothie base you can create many, many difference recipes.  Add in raspberries, blueberries, peaches, cherries, really any kind of fruit.

We love adding avocados to our smoothies.  It makes the smoothie really creamy, plus an avocado is a nutritional power house all on its own!

Sometimes we also add in chia seeds, flax, oatmeal. We like to get creative!
