Packing a healthy lunch for school does not have to be time consuming. The key is to make it fun by creating little sections of “grab and go” food.
Here are a few ideas in pictures…
All of these lunches took less than 10 minutes each. Keep in mind that I have twins, so that is 10 minutes for 2 lunches.
FYI –
- If you want the apples to stay fresh -soak them in lightly salted water for just a few minutes.
- If you want your kids to eat all of their lunch give them smaller portions. They can always eat a big breakfast and supper. I have found that if I pack too many things they just eat one or two.
Just think colorful and finger food! Your kids will love your healthy lunches.
