This easy zucchini recipe is not only healthy, but can be made in under 7 minutes!
Ingredients:
2 Zucchini
1 Red Pepper
1 Bunch of Parsley
3 Stalks of Celery
1 Tablespoon of Dulse (yes that’s seaweed!)
2 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil
Optional dressing:
1/2 Cup of Rice Vineger
3 Tablespoons of Amino Acids or Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon of Minced Ginger
Directions:
1 Slice veggies
2 Chop up the herbs.
3 Toss the veggies and herbs into a pan with the coconut oil.
4 Add dressing and dulse.
5 Saute for about 2 minutes.
Before you omit the dulse from the recipe above know that seaweed packs one of the highest nutritional densities (as far as minerals go) per bite than other foods out there.
Why is nutrient density so important?
Because if you are eating nutrient lacking food your body thinks there is a famine and it stores fat. When you start eating high nutrient dense food the body burns fat efficiently. Thus, it is not the volume of food that matters so much (or even often the calories) but the nutrient density of your food.
To your health!
